Bandwagon Monterey Chardonnay 2009 11.99/750 ml.
This is a new wine and label from Tony Leonardini, the volunteer fireman from St. Helena and winemaker who has also produced the labels "Volunteer" and "Two- Faced". If the name Leonardini sounds familiar, think Whitehall Lane. Jeff Warzynski says "put this Chardonnay at the top of your list, and be amazed at the low price for the high quality". This Chardonnay was sourced from the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. The wine was made without any oak fermentation and no malolactic fermentation either. Wine Garage of Calistoga describes it this way, "This is a crisp, clean representation of pure cold climate Chardonnay grapes. The nose reminds me of jasmine flowers right after a rainstorm. On the palate I get honeysuckle, papaya, and Meyer lemons. The wine is rich you may detect some butter, but believe me, those flavors are just from the pure Chardonnay fruit characteristics." Winery price is $17.
Francis Coppola Presents Bianco 2008 7.99/750 ml.
Don't delay, this great price won't last. Bianco is 89% Pinot Grigio, with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Winery notes: "Bianco Pinot Grigio 2008 is a light, crisp white wine that’s refreshing and versatile. Invite friends over and serve Bianco with appetizers, pair it with light lunch fare, enjoy it at dinnertime with seafood or simply pour yourself a glass to sip on a warm afternoon. Aromas: Citrus, passion fruit, and white blossoms. Flavors: Pink grapefruit, melon, and peaches."
Snowline Columbia Valley Riesling 2007 6.99/750 ml.
Just announced! $3 Off. Tasting notes: "An off-dry style of Riesling, perfect for those who find conventional Rieslings to be too sweet. Smooth, round mouthfeel with mineral, peach and canned pear notes. Pair this one with Chinese take-out, chicken with mango chutney or grilled fish."
Château Du Charron Bordeaux Rouge 2008 12.99/750 ml.
The history of the Château du Charron goes back to the 17th century. The Château is located in the small village of Lugasson, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region at about 30 miles from the center of Bordeaux. Tasting notes: "Intense red garnet color. Complex nose with blackcurrant and spice. On the palate the wine is round, fruity and sappy, with mellow tannins." Serve with grilled meats, cheeses, or at a dinner party. The 2008 vintage could turn out to be the strongest since 2005. The early arrivals such as this show an aromatic ripe fruit character with subtle mineral and floral tones.
Pizzolato Piave (Organic) Pinot Grigio 13.99/750 ml.
This wine is 100% Pinot Grigio, from an 18-acre vineyard on the plains and hillsides near PIAVE river, north of Treviso. Wine Enthusiast 84 points. Green Wine Competition winner. Won 'Best Organic White' at the Denver International Wine Competition. Wine Enthusiast notes: "An easygoing Pinot Grigio with a thin, watery mouthfeel and measured aromas of citrus, white mineral and passion fruit." Beverage Tasting Institute notes: "Caramelized pistachios and honeyed green pear aromas follow through on a soft entry to a dryish light-to-medium body with tangy baked apple and kiwi notes. Finishes in a quick, slightly pithy, nutshell accented fade with chalky fruit tannins."
Douglas Green South Africa Sauvignon Blanc 2009 8.99/750 ml.
A perky dry white with attractive tropical pineapple aromas and a zesty citrus finish.
Wild Hare Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio 4.99/750 ml.

Note Bleue Cotôs De Provence Rosé 2009 10.99/750 ml.
A wine for all seasons, but especially summer in the south. A blend of 80% Cinsault and 20% Grenache, sources from Provence. Versatile and refreshing with its fruit-forward approach, yet dry enough to work with a variety of foods, from spicy dishes to simple fare. The nose exhibits wild flowers and nutmeg, and the red fruit flavors are persistent throughout the glass. Serve it with a good chill.
Wily Jack California Chardonnay 2008 8.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "This is a pleasing and unpretentious wine showing fresh tropical and citrus notes joined by fragrant notes of apple and baking spices. The supple palate is laden with flavors of pineapple and bright lemon zest. The warm-climate ripe fruit marries nicely with the bright acidity from cooler regions, resulting in a wine with medium acidity that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with an array of foods."
Irma La Tage California White Wine 2008 10.99/750 ml.
Winery notes: "Very clean fruit-forward aromas of stone fruit. the Viognier dominates the early flavors on the palate with bright juicy fruit, and the chardonnay carries the mid palate and the clean, crisp finish." The composition is: Viognier (55%) and Chardonnay/Chenin Blanc (45%), mostly from Lodi. Alcohol 12.7%. Just a hint of residual sugar (0.4 g/100 ml.). "Irma La Tage… A menage of the superb wines of Northern California, influenced by the great Northern Rhone wine region Hermitage, the classic early 20th century impressionistic nudes by Amedeo Modigliani, and the award-winning vintage Hollywood film 'Irma la Duce'."
